Mission Statement: To improve education/rehabilitation services for the blind
Here are some of the key programs we worked on last year:
- Program 1: Provide annual training conference for professional & support members, consumers on topics & issues related to serving persons who are blind or have low vision. 120 persons benefit annually.
- Program 2: Provides an annual academic scholarship for an alabama applicant enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and plans to work in the field of blindness, low vision, or closely related area.
